Hasan Tutors - Terms and Conditions for Tutoring Services

1. Services Provided
Hasan Tutors offers tutoring sessions for primary, secondary, and GCSE-level students. Tutoring sessions cover subjects as discussed and agreed upon with each student’s parent or guardian.

 

2. Schedule and Cancellations

• Schedule: Tutoring sessions will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm at Queens Crescent Community Centre.

• Cancellations: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for any cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full and may not be rescheduled.

• Rescheduling: Missed sessions may be rescheduled if Hasan Tutors is notified via email at Hasantutors@outlook.com at least 48 hours before session begins, subject to tutor availability.

 

3. Fees and Payments

• Rates: Monthly rates are fixed for 12-months upon registration for the pre-agreed service and are subject to periodic review.

• Payment Terms: Payments are due monthly in advance. Any outstanding balances should be settled before the next scheduled session.

• Late Payments: A £10 late fee will apply to payments not received within 7 days of the due date.

 

4. Parent and Student Responsibilities

• Punctuality: Students should arrive promptly. Sessions will end at the scheduled time, regardless of arrival time.

• Preparedness: Students should bring necessary materials (e.g., notebooks, stationery, past assignments) and complete any assigned tasks.

 

5. Code of Conduct

• Behaviour: Students are expected to behave respectfully during sessions.

• Disruptive Behaviour: Repeated disruptive behaviour may result in the termination of tutoring services, with prior warning given to parents.

 

6. Safety and Confidentiality

• Hasan Tutors complies with safeguarding standards and keeps all student information confidential.

• Tutors will not disclose personal or academic information without consent, except where required by law.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

• Hasan Tutors will not be held liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses arising from tutoring services.

• While we aim to improve academic performance, specific results cannot be guaranteed, as outcomes depend on various factors, including the student’s effort.

8. Termination of Services

• Either party may terminate tutoring services with two weeks’ notice. Any prepaid, unused sessions will be refunded.

 

9. Agreement and Consent

• By signing the booking form, the parent/guardian agrees to the terms and conditions outlined above and consents to Hasan Tutors providing tutoring services to their child.
